Moonflower Gang War - Is This Anything?

In my D&D World, the most prevalent and go-to drugs are made from the Moonflower plant. Also, there are four moons. When those moons all light up the night sky in the same place at the same time, there is a noticeable quality improvement in the crop of Moonflower plants in that region. The resulting chase of sciencing where the moons will shine brightest in the upcoming years, and buying up land in the area, lends itself to small, shifting land-wars by businesses and gangs
