D&D Music at the Table - Is This Anything?

Load some stems for epic background battle music. Have most tracks turned up the whole time, but when it’s the heroes’ turn, crank the horns (for example, for the sword-fighter) or the crunchy guitar (for the barbarian) or the pennywhistle (for the lil’ rogue), and when it’s the BBEGs turn, turn up the foreboding oboe (or whatever).

Stem-based battle music for D&D: run all tracks at low volume throughout the fight, then bring up the instrument that fits each character when it’s their turn – horns for the fighter, crunchy guitar for the barbarian, pennywhistle for the rogue. When the BBEG acts, swell the foreboding oboe. Same song, different voices.
